Check out Fiat500usa.com...

I've updated http://fiat500usa.com with a story on Dante Giacosa, one of the men responsible for the Fiat 128 and X1/9. Plus there's a continuing story on the Fiat Nuova 500 of 1957. It's a way to get acquainted with where the Fiat 500 came from and what it means to Fiat and the rest of the world. Have a look!

Update on fiatresto / X1/9 Restoration...

Here's an update on what's going on behind the scenes at fiatresto / X1/9 Restoration.

Again, I would like to thank all those who have visited the site. As I've written before, it's been unusually cold this winter and progress on the car is a little slow. I've been taking advantage of that by working on my other site, http://fiat500usa.blogspot.com/

That site is dedicated to the New Fiat 500. In it , we'll explore the New Fiat 500 as it makes its way to the USA. You're invited to come along as we discover the origin and making of the Fiat 500. We'll use archival info, press releases and relevant news from around the web as we anticipate the arrival of this exciting Fiat.

As there is a lot of news recently on the possible merger of Fiat and Chrysler (others?), I've decided to create that other site to keep track of that news and more specifically on the New Fiat 500. I want to keep fiatresto / X1/9 Restoration more on the topic of restoring my Fiat X1/9. Please visit http://fiat500usa.blogspot.com to keep updated on the New Fiat 500 and all related news on it's progress coming to the USA.

The big news is that Fiat500USA.blogspot has purchased the domain name of Fiat500USA.com. The transfer to the new site will take place in the future. At the moment, when you type http://fiat500usa.com/ into the address bar, you'll be redirected to the current site location. With this, we look forward to increasing the awareness of Fiat500USA on the web.

fiatresto.blogspot.com-X1/9 Restoration opens up an Amazon aStore...

First, thank you to all that have come by the site. I hope you like the new look!

I've opened up an Amazon aStore here to help support my X1/9 restoration. This is powered by Amazon, so you can rest assured it is safe and secure.

I've put together the best of Fiat X1/9 books and other Fiat related items in a convenient location for you to browse through. There are some neat books on a wide range of Fiat cars there, to. There are also select car restoration products. Particularly interesting to an X1/9 owner would be the rust treatment products like Rust Bullet, Por 15 Rust Treatments and Fuel Tank Repair kits.

Keep an eye on the fiatresto store. I'll be on the look out for the most interesting and best of X1/9 and other car restoration products.
